The creator has stated his work is inspired by Lovecraft.

Holy crap.  I want to see this.  One of the creepiest works I have ever read.  Always struck me as some that Lovecraft would have liked.

Production IG makes me hope this will be a step up from the Gyo adaptation and Junji Ito Collection

“Also the Keri Russell character is Mara Jade.”

And yeah I get it, it’s already in a trailer or promo footage, whatever. I personally, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, avoid things like this as much as possible because I don’t want to know what’s going to happen in a movie I’m going to be paying $20 to see before I even sit down.

Eh, the Double-bladed saber, while gimmicky and impractical, has been around in Star Wars for a long time, and does fit okay with how Rey learned how to fight with a quarterstaff first. It’s not like the crossguard eyerollingness.

There is a really kind of desperate, grasping-at-straws quality to a lot of these rumors. If you look at something like the speculation threads on Reddit, they’re full of things that no sane person would expect to see in a Star Wars movie, like an hour-long flashback establishing that Luke and Mara Jade were Rey’s

$5 says its a dream/nightmare/vision, Rey going all “what if I go bad?”

Did the F.O. ever have a really big fleet? The impression I got was that they were much smaller than the Empire, and were depending on Starkiller Base as a tactical advantage. And in TLJ they appear to suffer massive losses. They lose a Dreadnaught at the Resistance base, then almost all of the command fleet

I think that was the one thing Johnson really wanted to stay in the sequel. You can save the universe and not be a fucking Chosen One.

I really hope they don’t retcon The Last Jedi’s reveal. It would feel very cheap.

A dark hooded figure looks up. It’s Rey. She’s in black—you’d call them Sith robes—holding what looks like two red lightsabers very close together. We then realize the sabers are connected and fold to either be a longer saber, or two sabers that almost resemble a tuning fork.

Pretty sure they just slapped an old-style dish on the ship. It doesn’t mean anything.

Were we ever in danger of that? Given the pace at which these things move, Kit will have aged out of the role before we ever see an MCU Logan on screen.

Sean Bean would have made a great Uncle Ben :(

I am totally down for Kit Harrington as the Black Knight! And with U.S. Agent announced yesterday, how cool is it that these smaller Marvel characters are getting added to stuff?! I’m just tickled pink!

It's alright if you don't like this anime but you should stop making up bs fact based on your reference. If it was "bad among terrible", how about explaining to me why it won many awards (Animation Kobe, JP Media Art, SF Taikai, Newtype and a few more that i can't remember) and are all people who enjoyed this series,

It starts out like something innocent, but gets darker as you continue to watch. That is the main appeal really, as the majority of magical girl shows are all about beating the bad guy and everyone is always safe and sound at the end of every fight. Madoka takes things in a more grim direction.

Sadly, part of the impact of this series was exactly because of that. When it was first aired you tuned in expecting a sailor moon type of show and a few episodes later you were like "what is this? what was that?"

Because it's a mindfuck anime disguised as a magical girl anime.
