The narrative vs the meta-narrative. I believe that’s the terminology you’re looking for.
Well considering that the TLJ Blu-ray sold like hotcakes, I think audiences liked it just fine.
Yes, unless Captain Marvel literally has the biggest opening weekend of ALL TIME, it’s a flop. This, ladies and gents, is what we call “moving the goalpost”.
Nice job misinterpreting his entire article. What he meant was that Black Panther is sucking all the air out of the box office, which is true. This is two weeks in a row (if not more) in which films that were previously thought to be defacto #1 openers opened not only to number two, but massively under-performing…
Did you really just talk about superhero fatigue as Black Panther finishes its FIVE-WEEKEND streak at the top of the box office, on its way to making more money than (quite possibly) Star Wars and The Avengers domestically, with over $1 billion in ticket sales worldwide? Really?
I’M PREGNANT!!!!!!!
“Blame!” It’s a movie, but it counts. That movie looks fantastic.
Yeah, normal names like Eli just rip me out of Star Wars. Good thing there aren’t any characters named Ben or Luke.
Jungle Book 2016. That is all.
The Disney and Aladdin brands are already much bigger than Zayn ever will be. I think Disney should just cast the best person.
Those are both scruffy 35 year-old men, why in the hell would you even GLANCE at them when casting Aladdin?
Please watch Agents of SHIELD Season 4, specifically the episode “Self Control”, and explain how that is campy. not to be mean, but you’re completely full if sh!t.
Keep whining. It won’t change anything. Homecoming is fantastic by the way.
Well infinity War is about Thanos’ hunt for the Stones, so he probably gets the Eye of Agamotto at a later point in the film.
Exactly.
Well English is a language that stems from Latin, so it’s all earth-based. i guess we’ll just have to live with it.
That MONSTER!
The Last Avengers
Rex is relatively light-skinned, actually. The old guy’s face is hard to make out, so it’s a believable enough retcon for me.
