The receipt checker does not have the right to paw through your (purchased) stuff, but that’s more about the fact nobody posts signs saying “The guy at the door is going to look through your cart.” I say this as someone who walks by them every time saying “No thanks” and thoroughly confusing whoever happens to be with

> They’re doing their absolute best to balance your experience against ways to improve their bottom line.

1. It’s harder to maneuver with a cart, especially in stores with narrower aisles.

Assuming all the relevant health and safety regulations are met, there is zero legal issue reselling DiGiorno pizza. As long as the pizza isn’t held out to be another brand name (like Red Baron), and there’s no implication that DiGiorno is directly involved, there’s nothing here. Not identifying the commercial source

This is the most bizarre spin I have ever read. Poor little candy company losing money...because they charge a $10 premium on Amazon...? I read most of the Bloomberg article and skimmed the rest and not once did anybody stop to question why the company is not just lowering their price on Amazon. Instead they’re paying

I would have to look him up to tell if I, too, a man, would swoon over Walker Hayes, but I very confident there is at least one guy out there who does, and probably many severals of of them. Unclear why you had to lean so hard into “only women can be attracted to men” in an article on a food blog that you had to

Re: the marketing wisdom of “chicken chunks”: in Canada, M&M Food Market (nee Meat Market) sells a product literally called chicken chunks. That said, they are indeed breaded, but I’ve seen non-breaded versions of them before, both in the US and Canada. And I swear a US restaurant had such a thing (non-breaded chicken

Corrections to the story:

I live in an apartment complex in the US where water is “free” (paid for by management). At my last apartment complex, I paid for it, though. My husband, who owns a house in Canada, pays a flat amount for “unlimited” water—$70 per month, though that also includes his sewer bill.

I’m not sure where you’re getting “single lane in and out.” In the very picture you posted it clearly shows two lanes of traffic around the first 2/3 of the parking lot, including a yellow stripe demarcating the drive-through lane versus drive-around lane.

It’s also a creation born in America and is unknown in China, so there’s that.

Indeed, it is pretty ridiculous that the recall would be for everyone to return a product that is perfectly safe to consume unless you have an issue with soy. In which case, yeah, go get a refund. But there’s no indication here that the pizza has some sort of issue for the majority of potential consumers.

I can’t get Taco Bell to give me any sauce packets to save my life. I overhead them telling another customer that was complaining about it something about how it used to be the cashier’s job, but now it’s the assembly staff’s job, or something? And they always forget.

I use AnyList for this, which by default has a database of recognized items in general categories (dairy, canned goods, produce, etc.) but I have changed the categories around to have one for each aisle at the store I normally go to and then a few additional ones for like the deli, meat section, and so on. And then

They also ignore your App Tracking Transparency setting in iOS 14. https://privacyreview.co/yelp

You don’t want to bag your own groceries, but that’s what Aldi is all about.”

You are, for two reasons:

If you do, definitely let us know how it goes. Now you’ve got me intrigued.

Who’s competing with anybody? It’s a solo challenge.

Same. I clicked through expecting to see how to slice the “skin” off of bagels to make them. When I saw a huge wall of text I just skimmed down to the comments.
