2017 F350 Powerstroke Dually
I agree 100%. It was the first thing I thought and was very disappointed it was so far down in the comments.
This is something that happens far more than it should and you are totally
First I thought about option 2, but the problem I have here is that who was doing this job before me or who else is also in the car rotation. That was enough for me to go with option 1. And option 1 is fine as long as I am supposed to die when I am 90 or something.
The other thing would be space. My family has me, my wife and our 4 kids. I think this shows that in a best case 87% would be able to use an electric car of this type. Space, cold weather, hot weather, traffic, cost, etc... are all going to make this number lower, likely much lower.
I think the 10% that it would not be good for live in the northern plains and upper Midwest like you and me (Iowa here). I have a 90 mile round trip commute which this car most certainly would not be able to make in the winter. Oh and I have a wife and 4 kids. We might be a little crowed too.
F350 Crew Cab Dually with 8' box. I am a farmer and have 4 kids so we can pull the livestock trailer and all fit if we need to take the truck. I am likely going to wait and get a 2017.
I tow a hog trailer nearly every day of the week. 55 hogs at 300 lbs plus the trailer is 23500. And that is a single deck 32' tandem axle. Double deck and tri-axles can easily get into the 30,000+ range. We have looked at using a semi, but the maneuverability and winter diving on gravel roads just won't work. There…
I second that!
