What this article fails to mention is that this is the 9th legacy Hornet to crash in just the last 6 months (a number which includes a Canadian CF-18 last month). While all these crashes may well have occurred for different reasons, it’s still an alarming number.

Will the Clarkson head belch car parts instead of guns?

But we still have what, 11 carriers?

As somebody earlier pointed out, it’s one thing to own a carrier, quite another to operate it effectively and efficiently. The US has this down to a well honed science. We’re damned good at it. It will take quite some time for China to catch up, but I’m sure they will. Eventually.

What’s another word for Thesaurus?

I do what I can. Or, more accurately, what I’m allowed.

Here, let me hold that for you.

A hippø once bit my sister.

I came to see if anybody had posted this. It’s a remarkable video.

Neither does the photog who told her to climb in there.

Thanks.

I would think that the loss of electricity due to engine failure would be the lesser of two evils. Does that a/c have a turbine generator to deploy? Would they even have had enough time to get that far?

From NBC:

Not to be too graphic

There is talk of electrical problems, but my guess is that they ran out of fuel. It’s my understanding that the plane was in a holding pattern at the time of the crash, and there was no fire on impact.

Seriously. I was still finding my way. That was a long time ago .....

It was a different era. How many 18-year-old drivers were there in Keke’s day?

Thanks for the link!

I’ve never heard of Heritage Points, but it makes sense. Thanks.

Any chance Arrivabene gets sacked over the break?
