As David Hobbs pointed out, had Seb passed Nico you would have seen Lewis go like a bat out of hell.

Interesting idea. It would be fun to do the math and see how such a system could have affected the outcome of the season.

For winning the driver’s championship? Merc was going to win that regardless.

I just said much the same thing over on Oppo. Ultimately, I don’t think team orders mean anything once the constructor’s championship is over. Lewis is out there for himself, not the team, and it was his only chance at winning the title. Why should he make life easier for Nico?

You mean Trump lied? Stop the presses.

It actually was a Dash 8 (DHC-8-402Q), and that is a Dash 8 in the photo.

Check out how thick the door is.

This was my favorite part of the ruling, found in one of the footnotes.

You don’t. I was just riffing on the biblical tone of my post.

Have some juice.

Assault with battery.

I rested my hand on the shifter, but never my foot on the clutch pedal, in my 2001 Golf. When the car was totaled by a drunk at 215k miles, it still had its original clutch.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Neither shalt thou rest they foot on the clutch. Thou shouldst move thy foot fully to the floor. Verily, your clutch will thanketh thee.

I sure hope so. There’s nowhere to go but up.

We must have had the same mother. “You know..” “No, I don’t know. Tell me.” She was trained as a speech pathologist, and you better believe she taught us to speak properly. I have declared war on “like” in my house. Use it correctly, fine. Use incorrectly, and you get. “So, was it like that, or was it actually that?”

I get next to no rally on my TV. Otherwise I’d watch it. I still haven’t finished watching the Mexican GP. I’m not sure what is the point in it.
