Yesterday was Cohen's birthday. This is a interesting song, absolutely screaming of 1967 when it was released. I can see a bunch of hippies sitting on the floor, wearing headbands and crocheted sweaters, smoking pot and discussing how deep the lyrics are. I would have liked to have been one of them, but alas, I was

No biggie. There are very few airworthy Zeros left in the world. The logo on the fuselage by the cockpit is that of the Commemorative Air Force. I think one if their wings have a real Zero, but they've got a number of these replicas. IIRC, the conversions were done for the movie Tora Tora Tora and then acquired by the

Good point. There are a lot of planes in the comments that were great, and a lot that were the epitome of available technology. But the Eindecker rewrote the book on fighter design in its day.

Those aren't really Zeros, though. They're modified T-6 Texans.

Very late to the party, but I nominate the Fokker Eindecker.

McDonald's coffee is actually pretty good. I'll take it over that burned garbage Starbuck's sells.

Heidfeld was left to climb out of his car unassisted? No rescue personnel at all?

Well, they don't give drive-through penalties for cutting somebody's tire, so why not?

Yes, this will fix everything. I'd rather they ban the whinging on the radio.

It's interesting to see how many drivers think right = safe. Driving off the road to the left might have been the better option. Hard to say of the truck would have gone in the same direction, though. It's always easy to think about what WE would have done when we're sitting safely at our computer.

Not having to load a new page to see notifications on mobile is worth the price of admission. Excellent improvement. Now, if you could get a longer notifications list on the desktop, that would be the icing on the cake. Keep the hits coming, guys!

I would wager that it's because, in general, we have the least whiny commentariat.

Good point! I actually had to back mine a turn or two out of the socket for just that reason.

It looks like he might be recording a video of the race. Is that a flip-out LCD you see right next to his cheek? Many times, people become so absorbed in watching what is in their viewfinder that they forget they are in imminent danger.

Thanks! I realize now that I forgot to post a pic.

Blow jobs are only accidental if you're married.

I have tried numerous dusk-to-dawn lights on my front porch, but the cheapest and most effective solution was to get one of these photocell sockets. Light comes on at dusk, turns off at dawn. No wiring necessary. For the inside while we're out of town, an old-school light timer does the trick.

It looks much better in the light of day. In the leaked photo, the yellow looked too much like banana yellow, and all I could see was a box of Runts candy. Still, I find it a bit generic. Having the tail design cover the whole empennage seems to be the way things are going, and I'm not crazy about it. But their
