My first car, in 94, didn’t have airbags. At the time, none of my family’s cars did! They were 89/90/91 something like that, and fit in the loophole that automatic (or door mounted) seat belts were just as good as airbags ;)

You’d be shocked (not really) how many people I see in new-ish cars that certainly have Bluetooth yet are still talking with the phone to their heads. Same thing with ridiculous SUV and truck capabilities when those vehicles only go to the grocery store.
