“STICK TO CARS!!!”
“STICK TO CARS!!!”
People do not disappear when June ends.
Yay, just in time for the last day of pride month.
hell put it on the ceiling then i guess.
Not sure if you’ve noticed, but there’s some crazy shit going on. Reasonable people would expect reasonable exceptions to be made without requiring reams of red tape and B27/6 forms.
Easier said than done in Florida. Almost everything is HOA controlled there, according to my friend in Tampa. It’s nearly impossible to find a house that isn’t part of a HOA unless you live out in the boonies, and they all have essentially the same set of basic rules.
1st Gear: The entire industry was expecting a correction. COVID-19 just sped that up. I also expect the 2nd quarter to be awful. But I’m also guessing there is likely to be a rebound in the 2nd half of this year.
To be honest, I spent a lot of time wondering the same thing, but I assumed that the reason would be a lack of business or a government-mandated shutdown. We were down about 50% overall, but it was still worth staying open.
Neutral: As of today I am unemployed, because the restaurant I’ve worked at for 25 years is closed thanks to the stupidest kid that ever walked the Earth. Apparently his mother wasn’t feeling well, and he offhandedly told one of his coworkers that she was being tested for Coronavirus, like it was no big deal. It never…
We have a culture and a market that punishes large corporations for cash-on-hand. Until we change the idea that long-term security and rainy day planning is “inefficient”, they will never operate by the same rules that people should operate by relative to personal finance. This crisis is exposing the worst of the…
I don’t wish bad things for a single worker or anyone dependent on them, but it’s hard to watch all these companies that work only for the next quarter’s profit, and don’t care one whit for the long term impacts of their behavior, panic at not making money for 2 weeks, and to not experience a little bit of…
Well... uh... my wife and I were having some marital issues beforehand and now we’re stuck in the same house together for who-knows-how-long, so... yeah....
I work at a dealership and their isn’t any car buying. The service and parts departments are surviving but sales is dead. No foot traffic to be seen idk where you’re getting your info from.
“Foot traffic has decreased in dealers for obvious reasons, but that hasnt stopped car buying.“
I think its going to be bad but not as bad as we think it would be. Everyone's is just in a doom mode right now and is expecting bad news. Foot traffic has decreased in dealers for obvious reasons, but that hasnt stopped car buying. The industries affected by the pandemic (mainly service industries) couldn’t afford to…
...how many are making 6 figures each year?
It’s almost as if the entire system was design to benefit the banks. Hmmmm... Who got their money first in all this bailout frenzy?
Well there’s not much of an alternative way if you want to be able to go to a dealer and pick out a car. Cars are expensive and getting selection that appeals to customers takes a lot of money. Just like normal people don’t have enough cash on hand to buy a new car outright, neither does the dealer so they finance…
How dare you cure cancer, my mom already died! Everyone else’s should have die too.
I know people like this, who think sacrifice is delaying the BMW a few years to pay off loans they can afford. They don’t understand that some people had to choose between rent and loans, and the deferred interest made them insurmountable, because they had the dumb luck of graduating college at the wrong time.
The…
