@kingkellogg: It's a phone first, gaming platform second...they need to worry about functionality and adding all those nubs would just make it uncomfortable. It needs to be small.
I would love if this came out within the next 6 months, but I highly doubt it. That's when my new every 2 is up...
@Kryptolojik: That's weird, never heard that happening.
@The Yam!: I'm saving it for the second playthrough since some of the quests have funny dialog exchanged for the serious story related stuff.
@Rawrnosaourous: Most of those aren't really easter eggs since a trait exists to purposefully put them in the game. Plus, they are all labeled in the strategy guide.
@Kryptolojik: Reset the cache. To do this, while the game is loading up for the first time, hold down the right and left bumpers and then hit X, X, X. I read that on the forums on apparently it's helping people with some smaller issues like yours. Doesn't work for the gamebreakers like game saves and stuff.
@Scrotor: Yeah, I lost about 11 hours or so. I have another save about 4 hours in that I will use but I want to know if it's fixed before I risk it.
So, the 360 version of New Vegas got a patch today but I don't think it's fixing the save game issue. Anyone download the patch yet and if so, notice anything? I know some people are reporting VATS issues in Nipton but besides that, no news. I really hope my new game doesn't corrupt.
@ViperVin: I think you missed the joke. I was kidding by saying people who bought the game were unwilling beta testers because they are playing such a bugged game.
@supremanade: That's a great idea. Give Fallout a month and then come back. Read up the official blog first though to make sure the issues are ironed out.
@Neige: Xbox 360 here...doubt the PC fix will work, but thanks.
This game is a broken mess. I'm a huge fan of Fallout but this is killing me. I can't even play my 12 hour saved game because of a corruption issue that affected a bunch of my saves. The only ones that aren't affected are from early in the game. Bethesda wants us to revert to an old save but with the issue not…
@yanipheonu: Seems to be a growing trend. Fallout NV release a broken game as well this week, relying on patches to make it playable.
@ffdantejones001: From what I hear, stay away from the mission called "Come Fly with Me." It takes place in the old rocket factory and has to deal with ghouls. That mission is apparently the one causing all these issues.
Has anyone heard any news about the patch for Fallout New Vegas on the 360? There's a bunch of us who can't play the game because of corrupted save files. I would restart, but who's to say I won't get a faulty save again and have to restart. It doesn't just mess up one save file, it's all of them so you are forced…
@GS Alf: it's linear in that, you go to a planet and you can only go down 1 or 2 paths. You can't deviate from that. There's no open world. The gameplay is corridor third person shooting. Fallout 3 is open world. Doesn't matter about the order of quests, but rather the gameplay. That defines if it's open world.
@lar91: I'd make sure you keep at least one save from prior to this and don't touch it. After you finish the quest, try saving and re-entering the game and see if you get it. If you do, just use the other save file.
@lar91: It's right around Novac. A bunch of us are talking about it on the official forums and from what we can come up with, it has to do with the quest called "Come Fly with Me." A sniper in Novac asks you to clear some ghouls out of a rocket factory. Skip the quest and you have a better chance of the save file…
@tonyp21: I was going to say what Paladin said, but he said it better, I was only only going to count up to 6. But yes, he's right...
