Hey, cool, my suggestion (Son of a Preacher Man) and my favorite band (Fountains of Wayne)!

I think folks could have a lot of fun with Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield

Man, I dunno about this. Plaza had the energy, and was totally game, but she doesn’t really have a sketch comedy background, and that came through. She was clearly reading off the cue cards all night, and her jitters got in the way of a high-energy, engaging performance. Just take the “Taboo” skit: she was struggling

It got me twice: when Eleanor walked through at the end, and, before that at every reunion of parent and child, as someone who lost a parent at a young age and would just really, really love to believe it would be that easy.

He was listening to the Beastie Boys, my dude. If he’s got a connection to anyone, it’s a bunch of well-off white dudes from New York City about his age.

Literally the only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on nowadays is that it’s bad to kowtow to China, but it’s good to capitulate to Israel.

How cool was it that they showed W-L records, and talked about wins and losses like they actually meant something?

As someone who never watched any of the AEW PPVs, who will flip to Raw or Smackdown on a Monday or [Friday] night if I’m bored, but don’t seek them out, and who generally tunes in to the Big 4 PPVs but not much else, what excited me most was getting to hear Jim Ross. The commentary on AEW was just so much better than

I am not a fashion person. I have never particularly cared about where I buy my clothes, or how others are dressed.

As someone who is 5'11 and 7/8 after a haircut, always round up.

Defunctland did an awesome episode on this a while back that should serve as a really great jumping off point for anyone interested. Though Action Park was before my time, I’ve been fascinated with it ever since.

All I really want out of this show is an excuse to hear Matt Berry’s voice, so in that regard, this episode was an unqualified success.

Also in Enlisted, which was near-perfect and should’ve run for a decade.

If you think that it’s worth an internet circle jerk that an old white guy from rural Georgia is insufficiently woke, you’re more mean-spirited than anything he wrote.

This is obviously a joke, a fairly decent one, and one without any malice whatsoever.

So.

There’s absolutely no evidence to support this claim other than the uncorroborated say-so of someone who was suing the university.  It’s nonsense.

I mean, look, obviously Odell got the last laugh, and obvious Gregg Williams is a complete asshole. But as a Jets fan, I was really impressed with their defense yesterday. This is a D without its top 2 LB (Mosley, Williamson) and a third starter (Brandon Copeland); its best OLB (Jordan Jenkins) got hurt in the first

Or, say, a high-level boys high school basketball team?

Maybe I live in the wrong part of the city (East Village), but Mets hats absolutely predominate here. After that 15-1 stretch, it’s like every Mets fan in the city came out of hiding. It’s odd, even though the Yankees have been by far the better team this season, the Mets have seemed to me to be the story, both for
