That's Frederick Sinclair, the guy from Dead Money.

I get that this point is purely about sticking it to trans people, but even if she wasn’t a shitheel this comment would be such peak millenial brainrot. Yes, the baby wizard books lady is the greatest author of our generation because it was the only long book you, personally, have ever bothered to finish.

I just play the Sim Settlements mod and make pretty little post-apocalyptic towns that I fill with every settler I can download off of the Nexus, that game’s story content is near-unaminously butt and ass.

For what it's worth, I have over a thousand hours in Fallout 4 and have also never bothered with the DLC, so I didn't recognize the gulpers either.

Speaking as someone who grew up rural, my hometown was 6,000 people and the town we ended up moving to fifteen minutes away was 1,200. The only town with a movie theatre and a walmart was 20 minutes away and was 7,500.

I really feel like most TV writers writing small towns are people who think small towns are 65,000

I think there’s something to be said about the chunky, unyielding MMOs of yesteryear, that seemed like they were genuinely trying to make you feel like you were living in a world and a place. Every MMO now just feels like a skinner box.

My thinking is that there is no one who has one of these hideous cartoon monkeys who has actually earned their extraordinary wealth. Because if you’d actually earned that money with your own sweat, you’d value it enough not to spend it on hideous cartoon monkeys.

I hate the future so much, this is the pits.

Studying and theory-crafting the assholes meta, in order to have maximized APS (assholes per second.)

I’ll pretty much watch whatever Stephanie Hsu decides to do at this point, so I’ll give this a shot too.

An even more interesting choice for Nico Robin.

Let’s see . . .

Weird number of lesbians, and they somehow still missed Kennedy from Buffy who was worse than Riley in every way except amount of screentime.

I really should replay that game again before Capcom gets so panicked over the idea that I'll give the zombies big floppy weiners or something and puts out DRM that bricks the game on my Steam Deck.

It’s so funny how mad conservatives are that they exclusively have the worst, most talentless nothings in modern media on their side.

People are, ultimately, insecure about their intelligence. Conspiracy theories let them feel like the ‘right’ one. The ‘clever’ one. The one who can see through the lies when everyone else is a dumb sheep. It’s people who are fundamentally bored by the concepts of personal growth and enrichment but still want to feel

Aw, I like FFXVI's story and characters (Deon is a gay icon/eikon she slays) but the spongy enemies left me with the worst thumb pain of my entire life. Still haven't beaten it.

Having replayed Persona 5 this year, I was struck with how . . . well, how outright miserable it was. The cast are largely unlikeable idiots who are mean to their friends constantly. The social links have a preponderance of weird “adult/minor” dynamics that I don’t think the game even knows are creepy and/or stupid.

An alternate reality where instead of an action roguelite, the Hades crew made a beautifully written and acted extremely horny tree puncher.

Agreed, 100%. People have such a weird little moralistic idea of what storytelling is there days, and it just communicates profound immaturity. People point out that Monica line like it’s some thesis point from the show rather than an in-character reaction from a character who herself has a complicated relationship
