I remember playing both games back to back, and they’re such wildly interesting mirrors of one another. Infamous had half-decent writing and really, really strong design elements - their level and encounter designers, their storyboarders, just every element really felt beautiful and crafted and lovely.

Which is so

I’m not sure what the solve is there, then. Because if a bunch of eugenicists were arguing the merits of vaccination, I’m not going to suddenly become an anti-vaxxer. I can also acknowledge that the anti-vaccination sentiments that come from POC based on a profound history of white supremacy and abuse directed at

I mean, I’m gay, married, and would describe myself as a feminist ally, and I still think a non-consensual, unnecessary, and unreversable medical procedure on one’s sex organs as a matter of cultural norm and aesthetics is pretty fuckin’ yikes.

4000 years of human men who did not find it mutilating”

These same people frequently found “rubbing cow manure mixed with honey into my burn” as medicine, so they may just be long-dead idiot shitheads.

Did you . . . did you play many games? I can think of like a dozen games that little tiny me owned that were bug-ridden nightmares. Lots of licensed games, especially. But not exclusively. Think about the four-thousand glitches and bugs in Super Mario 64 that speedrunners continue to use.

This is such a funny response, lol.

Dropout.

Lots of stuff that is normally a full action is now a bonus action, jump distance is wildly further, and more resources recharge on short rests instead of long rests now.

If xQc was a woman, he'd be the most hated person on the internet. But an enormous section of chodes will lap up anything a rich, vapid dunce spews as long as that dunce has a dick.

Invited a friend to a group outing, seeing a midnight showing of this the night it released.

Have you considered not being a petulant cunt in defense of a deeply mediocre Marvel TV show? Jesus.

Is this the one where Barbie offers Midge a sandwich on whole wheat, and Midge says in a thick Wisconsin accent “oh Barbie, you know I can’t eat spicy food.”

I’ve seen that clip in isolation and it always makes me smile.

“wonder why you hate middle America so much”

Probably because their entire political apparatus is based on spite and cruelty, their braying spittle-drenched lips spewing out an endless torrent of stupid, ugly viciousness for queer people, brown people, women, y’know - really anyone they can. And they’re too braindead

This is a wild point. Who’s inside “the rooms where they make a kid’s show”? A bunch of overworked adults. What on earth would make this particular workplace, where no actual children are present because, again, they don’t hire children to animate children’s shows, a somehow sacred space?

This is fine, funny, and dare I say: even a little cool. Underground comics/Ralph Bakshi vibes.

I haven’t actually seen any pearl-clutching, but if it exists I’m guessing it’s from people absolutely looking for a reason.

I didn’t have as big a problem with this on Stardew because the game has -so- many little shortcuts and time-savers and automation options that it feels good to reclaim more and more of your day as you go on.

But that also means that any other game in this genre that doesn’t have options like that gets my hackles up.

Can’t say that this was, in-particular, the part that annoyed me - it wasn’t like it was -our- Peggy, or even the one from What-If. Just an alternate universe version.

I will say that the movie on the whole felt pretty low-key misogynist, though. Any movie that defaults to the tired ‘womb madness’ trope kinda sucks,

I’ve had such a big crush on this man for a decade, and he hasn’t let me down yet.

It seems like the order of operations is A (someone drinks your blood) -> B (you then drink their blood) -> C (blood fountain).

Not to be -that- guy, but it is far from just men. The level of absolute frothing obsession that I’ve seen from folks on Tumblr for someone who, like, posts one piece of art a week and said one thing seven years ago that they didn’t like is truly staggering.

I think this whole ‘internet’ thing might just be something
