Probably depends on if it was an age-appropriate teen boy or if it was an adult 4-chan type.

Hey, cool, South Park is still gross stupid trash for right-wingers who want to larp as centrists. The more things change.

I’m not who you’re responding to, but I also dipped mid-season one. I don’t remember much of the specifics, but I do remember there was an episode and a half of our main trio scream-shouting their feelings at each other while in a dust cloud.

After the dust cloud, I decided I couldn’t handle anymore teenagers

Lowkey misremembered and thought the Gun Gale Online spinoff was part of the main show.

That may have something to do with the fact that one of those is about an incel who has a child slave and one of them is straight-up barely disguised fetish porn.

Slime Isekai is fun, though.

I played through Midnight Suns on deck at launch and it was so, so miserable. Just constant, incessant crashing. Still finished it, still enjoyed my time, but definitely glad to hear that people coming to it now are having an easier time than I did.

I hear good things about that lesbian Gundam whatsit.

Yeah, SAO has about a season and a half of being a 7/10 and a great deal of seasons that are a 4/10 on a generous day. It also sort of reinvigorated the “isekai about an OP protag based on a light novel” genre, and that is a malignant blight upon the whole industry that none of us will ever seemingly escape.

Pretty sure it’s just supposed to be “since 2013" - but I haven’t double-checked to confirm that the dates line up.

If their cutoff is 2013, then Space Brothers and Kids on the Slope are just outside of that decade. But Ping Pong is a good call.

Hourah Loux is an extremely divorced man. He’s so divorced that he literally had to change his name and move away.

But he’s not single because we’re in love.

I love that you initially think Honeybee’s name is, like, pretty normal, maybe a little eccentric - until you find out that her parents inexplicably named her brother Jerrybee.

Looking forward to my Steam Deck bursting into flames when I try to run this. But man, it would be great to have it mobile.

Mostly good list - I’ll accept that not everything is for me, and give a pass to two of the ones on here whose popularity largely mystify me (Attack on Titan and Beastars.) Or the ones from the moe-blob or isekai genres.

From the (unconfirmed) Bob’s Burgers cinematic universe, I’d like to throw out Wolf and Honeybee from Great North. They’re as dumb and bisexual as Nadja and Laszlo, but with the unfortunate downside that they don’t kill and eat people.

Bad parents, but excellent spouses.

Think you might have misread my tone here, friend.

Nah, their storytelling instincts were bang-on, this would be tedious and diminish the themes of the work.

Finally, some good fucking food.

Iron Bull will always be my #1 romance option in any videogame. Just absolutely insane that there’s a realistically portrayed BDSM practitioner in any triple-A title, and that the writers seem to both grasp why people do that in the first place and how they do it in safe, sane, and

Oh please, us monster fuckers have been thinking up logistical solutions to these things for -ages-. Gimme that size difference, please and thank you.
