Oh, to have the emotional bandwidth of the average twitter user - where absolutely, 100% ANYTHING is worthy of some screed or another. I’m struggling to find the wherewithal to get out of bed in the morning, and these people have emotion to spare on a rando in an incredibly niche hobby acting unflatteringly for a few

Eric’s right and he should say it. The vast, vast, vast majority of anime is doodoo dogshit, and Mob Psycho stands out as not just watchable, but often sublime. Emotionally resonant, immaculately animated, extremely well-acted and paced. Basically flawless, save for the rough transition in the first two episodes or so

But didn’t you go see it?

It definitely played better when I was watching the episodes in one big chunk on a rewatch, rather than having to wait a week for the Christmas episode, then wait another week after.

As much as I was pretty mixed on season two, I’m absolutely stoked to have season three coming soon. I missed most of this cast.

He’s a pretty talented voice actor. Kanan from Star Wars: Rebels and The Iron Bull from Dragon Age.

She did a great job there! I guess I was more curious what the public temperature was on her, these days. Didn’t know if she was more in the Sarah or Charisma camp (yas, queen) or Nicholas Brendan and Adam Baldwin camp (big big big yikes).

How’s Emma Caulfield doing, these days? I’ve only kept somewhat aware of her over the years, but I know she had a right-wing crank phase, and a recent health issue.

I straight up thought they were talking about the same person for a second.

Adjusting one’s behavior in the face of new information isn’t hypocrisy, it’s sapience, ya dink.

A rough day for fans of scream-stammering.

Also, going with my pre-stated preferences towards single player content, I’d love to know if Redfall is going to have -anything- to offer solo players. I haven’t always loved all of this studio’s work (though isn’t this one coming from the Prey division? That is one of the best ones.), so I’d be sad to have to skip

I’m tentatively excited for Street Fighter 6. I’ve got way too much carpal tunnel to play fighting games multiplayer, my thumb starts to actively throb in pain after a few matches if I’m too liberal with the z patterns, so I always enjoy when fighting games have lots of single-player, story-focused content.

But then,

It’s ironic. People belie authentic, perhaps vulnerable sexual desire with hyperbole so that they can communicate that desire in a self-deprecating, less vulnerable way.

If I say “I want the hot vampire mommy from RE: Village to cut me into ribbons” that’s now a joke, a comedic overstatement that is easier to walk

Why is daddies weird? Dads are hot.

Honestly, if someone is still watching the show at this point, good for them. I hope this final season is everything they could ever want. Meanwhile I’m pretty sure that this was the show that kickstarted my superhero fatigue - there’s something impressive about how vacuous it managed to feel after just a short time.

Also, because I'm very high and feeling weirdly bad about being mean to Chris Chibnall, I do think his seasons of Doctor Who look noticeably better than his predecessors. His push to use more modern equipment and techniques paid off.

Oh, we are totally in agreement there. For as much shit as I give, gave, will continue to give to Moffat, at least his seasons are still watchable. He's a great moment-to-moment writer who fumbles on the big stuff, but that's exactly 100% more strengths than Chris has.

Huh, I didn’t know that about Victorian Clara, I would have liked that quite a bit more.

I remember we got Nardole and Bill for a season each, and they were both breaths of fresh air (especially Bill, tied for Donna for my number one companion) but it still took us a damn long time to get there and they only stuck

That’s interesting. Have you come across any theories as to why that might be?
