Yeah, it’s a weird choice. I watched the first two episodes, and while the aesthetic is there, I thought the writing and acting was on the level of those monthly Hulu horror movies - that is to say serviceable, but distracting.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns released this week, and it is exactly the X-Com and Slay the Spire baby that I didn’t know I desperately needed. Wish it wouldn’t crash every two hours on my Steam Deck, though.

Like I said: hundreds of hours in Indie titles over the few years I've had it. The switch is great for that. It just happens that the Steam Deck is better, and has superseded it entirely for me personally. Why are switch fans so defensive?

Sorry, but 100% of the streaming and review footage I’ve seen feature drops into sub-20 FPS. Which is a problem when the game already has PS2-level textures in spots.
