Don’t forget the Bowler, the Shoveler, and the Spleen!

Probably some combo of the two, maybe... If she’d had people dine and dash on her before and the manager is always taking it out of her paycheck, he could’ve been like “well it’s you’re problem, you do whatever you need to in order to keep them from bailing next time. Stand guard at the door, pre-charge, whatever.”

People can feel tied to a job, especially if they had a hard time getting one in the first place. Especially if you’re relatively young and stuck in a place that has high turnover you don’t want to join.

Why is this posted like it’s a new article, instead of one written last year?

As long as you avoid the pull-tab cans, the risk is probably minimal — especially using a slow cooker instead of boiling on the stove.

He’s not that old!

To each his own. He has a style, but I hardly think it’s one note. Especially with all of the little details I catch on each rewatch of his films.

Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson both have this effect on me. (Though Wes Anderson’s more recent films are more easily digested than his earlier ones.)

No you’re thinking of Skim enemas that help you lose weight. This is for indoor cycling classes.

He’s calmer than you are

This has always been my opinion of it. Same with Crawfish Boils, except a way to consume a ton of cajun spices.

Yes, and the EXCUSE is WHY there were issues.

I literally said that filmmakers used the lazy excuse of blaming black leads. Before you get triggered, read the whole comment. That’s no fault of the actors or the movie itself. It’s the lazy excuse the people in charge used.

Throw in the fact that it’s entirely possible Catwoman set back representation by a number of years thanks to the fact that it was so terrible. Film companies, producers, directors, etc. had the lazy excuse of “see what happens when we let a black woman lead? The people hate it!”

That definitely matters more than anything else. I’ve left my number a few times before, and gone on several dates with bartenders/waitresses. Usually it’s ones I’ve talked with several times, though I have left my number once on a first visit.

I know about Jeff Goldblum, and I like it.

I bet you’re the life of every party ;-)

Oh yeah, I 100% agree. The UI is just atrocious. I’m not sure how they thought that format would work. Maybe on a mobile device, but for a roku it’s almost impossible to navigate. I’m still holding out hope for another revision soon.

I never understood the penchant for teaching kids that there’s a magical man up north who always watches you and knows when you are bad but forgives you anyways... Doesn’t seem like revealing he’s actually made up is a very good strategy for those trying to keep their kids involved in Christianity.
