Best Album winner, 1969, Glen Campbell (for By the Time I Get to Phoenix) would like to argue that there was! And Mr. Frank Sinatra, Best Album winner 1966 and 1967, would concur.

I disagree. I see a million people that are brutal to the business practices of the pharmaceutical companies and very pro-vax. He could, IF HE WANTED, fix this with a one short tweet (I wrote it above): “I am very pro-vaccine - I believe Pfizer makes monstrous profits that hurt people” It’s not very nuanced.

I tried really hard not to feel involved or invested in this trial—I don’t know anything about this relationship and I don’t want to assume innocence or guilt when such horrifying accounts of domestic violence exist on both sides.

I enjoy grocery shopping. I like seeing all the fresh produce and picking out the best ones for what I want to do. I like talking to the fishmonger and finding out what is freshest, or the butcher and learning how to cook that cut, or the cheesemonger to find the best cheese for what I am doing. Seeing all the stuff

You beat me to it, was about to post the same thing. I laughed my ass off when I saw that. :)

Man, I love people who self-own through being hilariously inept. You know, pumpkin thieves, thin-skinned vulture capitalist owners of blog sites, those kinds of folks.

It’s easy to see why Bill and the Pats win so much in the AFC. Part of it is his coaching acumen and front office maneuvering, the other is that just about every other coach in the conference in any given year is a ding-dong.

Listen, I agree with the sentiment, but why do folks think the G/O dickwads are reading the comments at all? I’m hard pressed to believe they have even visited Deadspin, based on the ridiculous staff requirements that were leaked...

It still totally makes no sense. Who goes to McDonald’s, hoping to find a healthy food option - and chooses pie as that option???!!! Give us our delicious calories clown!

A lot of DQs business relies on the ice cream machine, any employees playing the “it’s broken” game to get out of cleaning would get fired.

That’s kind of an amazing observation- I hadn’t ever compared the Crane/Lunhow Astros to Enron, but you’re right, they feel like they’re cut from the same cloth. Including Lunhow and Skilling’s McKinsey ties.

The infuriating thing to me is how this piece is both narrowly focused a single baseball team’s operations and yet also very much describes EVERYTHING about America-circa-2019.

They should be higher but I wouldn’t quite call Sprinsteen underrated. Just vastly misrepresented on the radio and by most of his white collar boomer fans who don’t listen to his lyrics(I feel the same about the Stones). He’s one of those guys that has a much better repertoire than the stuff they play on the radio.

Bashing on Springsteen by millennials has become as cliche as the boomers’ fawning. As a Gen Xer, I’ll sit over her and smugly listen to Nebraska, knowing you’re both wrong.

Can you guys ask the venture capitalists to make articles take up less space? It’s kind of hard for me to watch both of the “recent videos” that started playing in two separate places when I’ve got four or five lines of text distracting me.

Sincerely let’s go the Nationals.

Your take is that a man most of us mistake for Michael McDonald and was saved from being yacht rock by Chevy car commercials is top 40 but Bruce Springsteen who’s songs were covered by the number 1 musician on the same list is the most overrated musician of all time. Username checks out.

I’m holding out for mussel sprouts.
