at 73 she’s got no problems having 3 pedals

FYI, all the old people drives with 3 pedals outside the US.

i aspire to keep my beetle that long.

It’s such a simple safety upgrade, but even on the most perfect of restomods, I think headrests in an OG Beetle would look awful.

Fixed it for you: Now the you have the money and maintenance budget to buy a more interesting used manual wagon or modify the current one :)

FWIW, our recent VW wagons, and the 1.8l TSI engine have been very reliable. Consumer reviews seem to support this. Higher than the F31 and XC60 ratings. I would have bought a 2018 year-end AWD Golf SportWagen S/base new for $17.5k, had I begun shopping a few months later than I did. The 2019 will come with even more

Oddly enough, I bought my first new car in college and my second shortly after graduation (both manuals). Now that I’m making more money, I’ve become a tight ass and only buy used. Kids do that to you I guess. Honestly, it may be the dealership experience that drove me to the private party market. Half of my two car

Cause the invoice on a 2017 is roughly $500 on standard equipment and $1,300 on an RS2. Doesn’t qualify for rebates, so people expecting a reasonable discount will be rubbed the wrong way when they show a measly $500-800 off sticker for a 2 year old car.

Not going to lie, I’m looking hard at a 2018 RS in the next 6-8 months.  So many of them are just sitting out there.  I can’t afford it now but will definitly be able to do something in the next 8 months.

it’s like a mom butt. it’s big, but mostly just wide, shaped funny, and lacks depth.

I am hoping this is just a bad rendering, it looks like a bad rendering, can someone confirm that this is a bad rendering? PLEASE

I was 100% team hatchback, but after seeing this one, I’m now 99% team hatchback. It just looks... off.

While I applaud Ford for making this, and I think it’s the best pickup for any price, most of these features are for show only. Unless you have FU money, are you really going to catch air on your new $65k truck, or go barreling down fire roads at ridiculous speeds? I’ve seen so many Raptors that are so clean and

The Raptor is an absolute monster and nothing can compare to the sheer amount of off-road technology that they’ve shoved into this thing. Couple that with the fact that these things don’t ever depreciate, they are a smart buy as well. They are truly in a class of one, and Ford has knocked it out of the park.

Good move.

I’m clearly biased, but even if I attempt to set my obsession aside, I say the first gen Mazda 6 fits this description. At least the better trim level versions.

I think I considered selling my current 6wagon once during the 3.5 years I’ve had it. I don’t even remember what potential purchase made me think about it, but I felt dirty about it very quickly. I had a nearly identical 6wagon with automatic before this one, I am very glad that I made the upgrade to a manual one.

It’s nice to see a glimmer of hope for new cars these days. Almost makes me wish I could afford something besides option #3 here. Ah well, it’s the only one with 3 pedals.
