so, a bridge that isn’t used for anything other than decoration is being partially disassembled for 1 day at no expense to the taxpayer, and in fact probably have to pay a hefty permit fee on top of the cost of partially disassembling and reassembling the bridge.  given that local labor will do the work, it is a net

I don’t get all the vitriol aimed at Bezos here, other than for him being a typical billionaire douchebag that nickle and dimes his employees by measuring their productivity metrics to the point where they’re pissing in bottles, but the bridge isn’t his fault.

Dear Verisign,

RE: #3. Pansies. My commute into and out of Boston is 3 hours of often stop and go traffic and I would’ve have it any other way than with a 3rd pedal. It’s the only thing that keeps me interested in something other than suck-starting a 9mm in traffic.

The W series feels like a necessary evil in a sense. While F1 currently is solely a male series, it is not due to women being barred. It is more due to women not having the same opportunities to grow up to F1 status. They need opportunities to grow their skill level and this kind of stuff sadly takes time. The W

I don’t drink my own pee and think the only thing the vaccine is a bio weapon against is the virus... but I still kind of think DUI checkpoints go against the 4th amendment. Michigan supreme court agreed with me but since the supreme court didn’t they’re officially legal.

Etymologically they are cars*, and they fly.

It probably shares a fair number of mechanical parts with the Mazda pickups (and Ford Couriers) from that era, possibly even some of the missing switchgear, so sourcing parts might not be as daunting as it seems. The rest of the project would be mostly elbow grease. Is it worth $6000? Probably not but projects like

The worst one is the probably the patchwork legislation between states but I’d put the second at civil asset forfeiture from normal traffic stops. The fact that you could be pulled over by an officer without cause, and have them take your money or even your car because “It may have been involved with illegal activity”

Yeah, but the crossover/consumer oriented SUV was a byproduct of CAFE standards.

one of 75 people that were given a ticket for simply using the left lane on the interstate”

I’d love to see this or the Wolf actually roll off an assembly line. Renders are cool, but an actual product would make me go all

I’ll take today’s low-hanging fruit: BMW is now just trolling its customers with parody grills. They literally can’t be any larger or they would overlap the hood line.

Is a base 911 worth as much as a Cayman GT4 ($101,200 for both)? That’s the real question IMO.

But it’s a slapstick-style comedy that works quite well for these three.

It seems like Tacked on letters is so summer of 2013.

There should be a legal challenge based on the constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment.  This sentence is clearly out of proportion with the crime.

My wife’s ‘05 Mini. That thing would have components fail inexplicably and to this day it’s the only car that I’ve owned that A) The thermostat housing is basically a wear item and B) You have to disassemble half the damn car to change it. I loved it to scoot around town because the size, space and visibility were

The whole percentage power loss through the drivetrain pisses me off. “Oh, it loses 15% to the wheels!”. A percentage power loss makes no sense, if you slap a turbo on your civic it doesn’t suddenly start taking double the power to turn the drivetrain.

Also please stop trying to defend the new Integra - we dont like it and this is now the 2nd for sure “article” on this site blaming the readers and wondering what is wrong with us.
