The real problem with it, and this applies to a lot of these name-plate rehash things these days, is that the original meant something for performance enthusiasts. It was light, it handled great, it was fast for the time. This is none of those things.

My wife may be buying this in the next couple years to replace her Impreza. God those wheel arches are absolutely hideous though. If she gets this it’s going to a body shop immediately to fix them. I don’t care if it’s paint or wrap, they are getting color matched.

Biggest myth I encounter is that the left lane is for passing only.

It’s not weird, unusual, or an indication of any kind of corruption, incompetence, or injustice that neither the idiot coal roller or this idiot were cited or arrested on the spot, because That’s not how it works. That’s not how ANY of this works.

Am I wrong for thinking chipped keys/smart fobs were standard by now?

From top of my head, I can think of a few:

Everyone needs to grow the fuck up. It's a joke.

I love to shit on GM almost as much as Jalopnik, but everything about the C8 seems like they hit it outta the park. And now this level of performance for that price is insane.

Suzuki Swift

I would say the Kia Soul for inexpensive car.

Hellcats, or at least the ones that haven’t been crashed or beaten to death.

Inevitably, it’s the stuff the youths today want but can’t have for whatever reason, or stuff they can have and will retain positive memories of. May I propose a car that hits both boxes: the Ford Fiesta ST.

Toyota Corolla Hatchback Manual. It may be the last manual, factory economy hatch. It’s the closest thing to the 80s/90s CRXs, etc. which are currently hot.

unmolested GR86/BRZ, particularly when it was still a Scion

Miata is always the answer or any convertible since they haven’t felt the threat of extinct since the 70's.

Take your pick of manual Lotus - my take is that they are the modern/future Austin Healeys 3000s. Not the “E-Type” collector “gem” buit we be valued way more by those in the know than most other makes and at the same type “forgotten” by the general public. Most “normals” will walk up and say “nice pontiac”....

I’m still confused as to why they care if someone cheats at single player.

There are plenty of examples without big manufacturer’s help that have shown the negative side of unionization as well.

the force of Aztek is strong with this one

Do we know whose rotary they are using? Wankels definitely make sense for constant speed use like generators so I’m wondering if anyone has tried a small unit like the old Norton motorcycle or drone engine.
