Watched this in a bar - I haven't heard that much laughter for almost an entire episode in a long time. Funny, exuberantly silly, a bit of satirical bite, musically ambitious, Chris Pine threw himself into everything with glee and gusto, and the cast definitely reciprocated. Easily one of the best overall SNL episodes

I'm 49 and for about 15 years almost every goddam song I hear just sounds like something I used to listen to. I'll hear a track in some cafe and think "Wow, is that a Television B-Side I haven't heard?" or something like that… Nope, it's just (insert annoying and incomprehensible 5 word band name here). Twue wuv.

The Scarlet Pumpernickel!

Also a fantastic movie from 1934 starring Leslie Howard as the titular character with a delicious Merle Oberon as his wife. And an ok tv series from the 80s with Anthony Andrews.

I believe there was an old Avengers episode (the fab 60s Brit show, not the superhero franchise) that had this clown face on an egg thing as part of its storyline.

PREACH. I saw this and Supercop as a double bill in Portland in '93 (and both several times since), one of the most amazing days of my life. That hospital scene is of the most incredible things I've ever seen in a movie theater.

Well, you can't say they weren't honest about it what with the title stating exactly what it is…

Merci

Not nearly with the same predatory gusto and pervy nonchalance.
