Those souls aren’t headed for oblivion, they owe Miscaviage their next 7 lifetimes.

The whole sale dump of existing projects when the studio suits change is a process that’s been happening since the dawn of Hollywood back in the 1910's.

Those two “adorable” nazis were played by Jews who both fled germany, Banner’s family was killed in a nazi concentration camp so I think the stories a bit more complicated.  The series also wasn’t as popular as you make it out to be.  It was ranked #9 in it’s first season, #17 in Season 2 and for seasons 3-6 it didn’t

I’m whiter than the toast Elwood Blues consumes every meal and I think that’s a pretty funny bit of observational humor.

or a “little known” Canadian slasher movie named “Black Christmas”.

One of my earliest film going memories is of my parents taking me to a Drive-In double feature of Planet of the Apes and 2001. My 6 year old brain loved Planet of the Apes and slept through most of 2001.

If you’ve ever seen any of the actual TV Broadcast footage of the moon landing anyone with even the most passing knowledge of Kubrick would immediately know that Kubrick didn’t make it.  It looks terrible, grainy, smeary and fake looking.  Kubrick was incapable of producing filmed images that looked so bad.

My biggest concern with Stanley’s “Color out of space” was that the producers would get tired of his weirdness, fire him, ban him from the set, hire Ron Howard to complete the film while Stanley “disguises” himself as a cultist and makes a documentary based upon Stanley’s clandestinely filmed cell-phone videos.

A perfectly good alternate history mockumentary named “The Confederate States of America” exists that covers the same territory, I.E. the English and French intervened in 1863 to bring to conclusion the civil war in favor of the South and the implications, particularly the continued existence of slavery.

Add in a producer who absolutely has to have that gigantic mechanical spider regardless of how little sense it makes and you’ve got a train wreck that’s surprisingly boring to watch.

Never has a great trailer and poster so over-hyped a product that turned out to be so disappointing.

You’re still a philistine, just 20 years older.

Emergency didn’t hit the airwaves until January 1972 and reached it’s height of popularity in 74-75.

The problem is a perfectly adequate parody of Top Gun has existed since the early 90's. There’s no reason to view Top Gun anymore except as a cultural artifact of the worst excesses of the 80's and this sequel has even fewer artistic reason to exist.

Amongst several other, Margheriti’s most common English pseudonym was Anthony Dawson.

This film isn’t a homage to Kill Bill, there were no revenge fantasies present in OUATINH.  You haven’t seen this film or if you did your brain must have been sleeping.

It’s purpose is in the title, “Once upon a Time”. It’s a fable concerning wish fulfillment and the “what if” creation of a fictional alternate universe which has a better ending than the reality.

OUATIH is not meant to be a documentary. Neither was IG.

In the world of baseball outrages this is down there with guys using their knee to snap a bat when they strike out.

Damn, that’s really bad timing on that fade-out of the YT video.  As bad as the scenarios of those “sequels” that have been jokingly or not suggested over the years.
