This comment was an adventure.

Nah, you’re both wrong - it’s a “moo” point. It’s like a cow’s opinion; it doesn’t matter. It’s moo.

Whatever the kid can afford. Mow lawns, deliver papers, whatever - I’m not buying you a car outright, kid. You’re going in at least halfsies on this thing. If I buy the whole thing, you ask me every single time you want to take it somewhere. If you want to have a say, you better pony up at least half.

+1 for the “Things without CVT’s” blurb at the end.

I liked it because it was one of those shows like “Taxi” and “Barney Miller” which had a cast of actors who were skilled in comedy, and distributed the laugh lines to all of them.

How about Tywin Lannister, Roose Bolton and Walder Frey?

Now that’s a team-up that could do some damage.

Which is true, the best bet then, is to take the loan, ensure it doesn’t have any prepayment penalties, then pay it off the next day.

It’s amazing that a person can eat that many sandwiches at once.

I was about to joke about the author lazily cribbing from whatever pre-written obituary the site has on file, but I strongly doubt the AV Club has enough of its shit together to keep pre-written obituaries on file.

Agreed. And not a very good one

Yeah I definitely feel like they had it ready to go.

This weirdly reads like a mini-obituary and I don't like it.

You forgot the most important part that determines value: Desirability.

While this absolutely tickles my 70s gameshow host fancy, no dice.

I’ve been using Aftershokz headphones for several years, almost daily use, and I love them. Currently using the opencomm model, had the air, titanium, bluez2 and sportz M3 before that.

Love, love, love, my Aftershokz Aeroplex bone induction headphones! I find them super comfortable and forget I’m wearing them. I never need to charge them more than once a week. For safety reasons, I’ll never wear “noise isolating” headphones during those activities. I use them for walks, runs, biking, and kayaking.

They have a unique look. But I don’t think they aged well. The Sky aged much better.

If you ever drove the multitude of terrible cars that came before it, you'd understand. Cars that let you down, made you nervous in bad neighborhoods, could have made you late and cost you your job and put your family at financial risk. Cars that lost all value before the payments were done. If you had to put up with

My parents drank Mateus when we lived in Germany. My other memory of that was when SNL did the Nerds sketches with Bill Murray and Gilda Radner, and he called it Ma TAY oos.

Similar history here, but we’d sometimes go high brow with Mateus. Often used that in our water pipes.
