Beto, would you please do something useful, like run for Senate or something?

Ben Carson is the epitome of the doctor who got into medicine for the money. That he took a position of power he had clearly no qualifications for (and had nothing to do with medicine) is proof of this. He’s good at brain surgery because it was economically expedient and for no other reason.

I bet a dollar this asshat has made a rant on reddit about the imagined possibility of being accused of rape for saying “hello” to a girl in a bar. He’s the same guy that calls her pretentious[1] for telling him she’s got a boyfriend when he says “hello” and accuses another girl of leading him on for talking to him

I’ve worked with actual rocket scientists that are brilliant at what they do and fucking morons at everything else. I’ve actually had IT conversations with heart surgeons that ended with “I’m a doctor, I’m not stupid”. Well, you called me, genius. Why do you think that is? The deeper the specialty the worse they are

You’re not wrong, but this is the part where most people finally say, “maybe I should get that looked at....”

Agree, but what do his politics have to do with any of this?

Late stage capitalism, ladies and gentlemen.  Welcome to the end times.  We hope you enjoyed the ride....

In what way? It’s a town of 3,000 people. Court is only open for two hours one day a week. They just don’t have that much for him to do there. The town I live in has 4 times as many people and we only have court once a week....

Altona, while I’ve never been there, looks to be pretty fucking rural (3,000 people in 100 square miles). For comparison, I live in a town with 4 times as many people in 1/50th the area and our court is manned by a single judge one day a week. Altona has court once a week from 7p-9p on Tuesdays. So, while this kid is

Continuing the trend of the two party system: the unreasonable party and the party that wants to reason with them.

event attendees were not told in advance where the event is or who’s actually hosting it, and have instead been instructed to simply “arrive at a parking place in Palo Alto, from which they will be transported to the event.”

I bet a dollar this asshole sits at stops signs complaining that other people won’t hold up traffic to let him in.

Funny in a “if I don’t laugh I’m going to scream” kind of way....

It’s funny, because right after the Alabama map fiasco, my Timeline was full of people posting other pictures with Sharpie edits.  My favorite was the inaugural crowd picture with stick figures drawn in to fill the crowd.

I’m just wondering how long we would have been arguing over it if the Republican President had said it instead of Kelly Anne Conway....

Patiently waiting for my “Bowling Green” hoodie....

Linguistics rule 101: everything before the “but” is bullshit.

“We love our Hispanics as long as they don’t look hispanic.” Jesus, it’s not even a racist dog whistle. It’s just a regular racist whistle. It’s a racist air raid siren.

Too wide, tiny ground clearance, no visibility, enormous turning radius, and a scrape on a bumper costs many thousands of dollars to fix, on streets originally designed for horses.

My favorite part is watching the ex-Top Gear crew trying to navigate them around European cities.
