These things exist because they are stackable. I only ever see them at places that are bars during the week and clubs on the weekend. As soon as 9:00 hits, the staff clears the floor of stools and tables so the club rats have more room to overcrowd the place.

Rutgers admins used to get upset if you didn’t make the check out to “Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey”. I suspect that’s what’s going on here. Some admin got his pinstripes in a knot over people not calling the school by its “proper” name and is raising a stink for publicity.
