Agreed. I don’t want someone doing an impression of Bruce as Ash. Someone else finding themselves in a similar situation but with their own unique way of combating the forces of is definitely preferable.

That it’s Pete Davidson playing him is just icing on the cake. The only actor I’d like to see die more onscreen is Luke Wilson.

The family dynamics of Riggs & Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon franchise are part of what make those films so endearing... at least to me. Even crazy “Uncle Leo” has a certain charm to him.
