The Vulcan nerve pinch probably wouldn't work on somebody in full body armor. And Ted, he's a busybody. He can't help but insert himself into situations which, more often than not, end badly...humorously, but badly.

Yeah that's great George. Why not send a battle droid into the past to stop Darth Vader from being born. You could call it Star Wars: The Shmi Skywalker Chronicles.
Given Barney's choice of statuary (life size Storm Trooper) he might fall more into the Star Wars camp... Wait, that's perfect. Barney and Ted touch off a brawl between Trekkies and FanBoys which culminates with Ted gettin "da pinch". It would be AWE - wait for it - SOME!!
Having Spock put the clamp on Ted would be very satisfying. I'm already picturing an episode where Barney drags Ted to Comic Con to hit on cosplay chicks. It's the first time, in a long time, I've smiled when thinking about HIMYM.
Nerve pinch? With that hair and expression it looks more like Spock just zapped him with satic electricity.
Not sure why, but I could see Steve Zahn being able to pull off Kolchak.
Depp was good as Hunter S. Thonmpson, but Kolchak is nothing like HST. My fear is that he will play him too over the top...manic, instead of driven. Johnny Depp is a great character actor, but this casting feels too much like square peg meets round hole.
Tsoukalos is proof that aliens exist. He's either a Centauri in disguise or a reject from the The Jersey Shore.
Hibernation for me please. NFL over...sleep now. Wake me when the NHL playoffs start.
Grindhouse Batman? Actually, that would be pretty awesome. Anyone else think Quentin Tarantino would make a good Riddler?
While you're at it, what about letting David Fincher have a crack at a film adaptation of the Long Halloween.
If they're going to bring anyone back for the sequel, let it be Edward James Olmos as Gaff.

Maybe it was just the armor, but Urban looked bigger as Vago in the Chronicles of Riddick. He just doesn't seem as physically imposing as Dredd. Maybe it's that bucket of a helmet he's wearing. It looks way to big.
"Can we really come up with no better solution for eradicating feral animals than siccing even more dangerous creatures on them?"
Like other artists H.R. Giger's style changes and evolves over time. Pablo Picasso had his Blue and Rose periods. It seems that Giger has moved on from Phalluses to Vulva.
Whenever my family members break any of stuff or spill their soda all over my nice leather chair, there is always one quote from B5 that comes to mind..."Zathras can never have anything nice."
Can't wait to see the movie. I just wished they could have found a way to work in the puppet cast of Greg the Bunny...maybe one of the muppets doing a guest spot on Sweetknuckle Junction.
