I agree here that gasoline doesn’t help, especially in dry areas like Africa and the Mediterrean. If those cars catch fire then a whole forest can burn down.

right but... if the people inside clearly arnt dead.. that means there isnt a short to ground going on... meaning its probably a good idea to get the currently living humans out of said wrecked vehicle?  fuck the forest... waiting either way wouldnt save it.. safety light or no.

The pictures don’t show just how big the vehicle is. This is the size of an Audi Q5 made to look like a Lancia Delta Integrale.

As an American, I must state that losing the worlds largest floating Chinese Buffet (all you can eat for $3.99!) is a global tragedy and international crisis, and I shall be in mourning until I find the second largest and gorge myself on General Tso’s.

We really should create a memorial of all the bland, boilerplate faux-apologies that people like this give, when they get caught using language they’re so used to in casual conversation, that they feel okay using it on a public livestream without their friends even reacting much. Every single apology reads the same...

Jenner looks like a GM design, foreshadowing some transgendering.

Not while the PS5 still can’t get stock in stores.

The overwhelming evidence and sources you’ve provided have completely swayed me. You probably know more than the DOCTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY that conducted the study in the article I liked to.

It does if the mask prevents the saliva and other fluids containing the virus from getting to your nose and mouth. I read a study saying wearing a mask is about 80% effective at preventing YOU from contracting the virus. It’s not 100%, but if you were told one restaurant was 80% lower chance of you getting food

Outright tattoo exceptions are just plain dumb the last about 5-10 years and a clear sign you likely work at place with bad management. Any 18 year old that got a tattoo between 1980-1999 is now 40-60 years old (when tattoos arguably became mainstream). The tattoo/goth/emo scenes of ink, hair color, and pricings is

So being attacked by what it seems a mentally deranged individual is fine because the guy he attacks makes a joke?

Jada needs to be quiet and keep her opinions to herself. She needs to be talking with her husband, because it’s on him to reach out to Chris; not the other way around. She’s still making Will look like a punk, and is not very compassionate towards Chris about the entire ordeal.

I definitely waffle on this a bit myself. I’ve stayed in everything from 5-stars to semi-trashy motels, and I think there are diminishing returns on both ends. The 5-star had some nice amenities (and didn’t charge for WiFi!), and it FELT more professional and personal, but at the end of the day, it was still a room

If you think the new Defender lacks character, you haven’t driven any of them (there’s also a 2 door with a V8!) or you’re being arbitrary.

The problem with spending money and time on loss leaders is that companies like Nissan, Mitsubishi, Porsche and Lamborghini end up creating masterpieces for a decade only to go tits up and being forced to build bland cvt econoboxes for 25 years to make up for loses or get sold back and forth in the hopes that they see

There are niche manufacturers that make niche cars.  It’s not particularly reasonable to expect a big business to put out products that they’re pretty sure that not many people actually want.

Yeah, I don’t love Defender as lifestyle accessory rather than utilitarian workhorse (although if they get cheap enough, I’m open), but “they’ve built a longer Defender and that’s bad” is a weird take.

This is a pretty dumb take. It’s a version of the usual Jalopnik complaint (because you gotta continuously generate content, I guess) conflating what you or I think is a cool, or collectible car with what a carmaker can build that will sell in 2022.

As a Brit, I find it almost amusing that people laud over the original Defender, often paying well over $100k+ for an average example. The new one is actually pretty capable, looks fine, and certainly stands out in an ocean of egg-shaped crossovers.

People are freaking out about the 130 like Ford hasn’t been doing this same dance since 2007 and GM since 91.
