That's true. I guess it's just surprisingly gutsy. ha. It could both help them avoid wasting too much money if it's not good or help them make even more money if it is good. I really hope it's the latter.

I think that actually makes it look a bit more like in the anime. That old-style anime hand-crafted look with real lines on it.

I seem to remember expressing this concern on Kotaku back in the day. It felt like the reality just didn't live up to the hyped commercial, and I wondered if they could be taken to task for false advertising.
