Certainly not very practical, but it reminds me of some more organic mecha designs. I'd prefer one of the others though. :)

What is gross about it? It's translating a mecha leg design into a prosthetic leg. That's kind of cool.

That's because they're demon animals sent up to the surface to destroy everything. Hellspawn don't follow the laws of physics. This also explains why badgers are sponges that are so difficult to kill in Far Cry 4.
