The last time I listened to popular opinion regarding books, I read the Da Vinci code.

I met a lot of celebrities for my job and I always say Kevin Sorbo was the nicest and most down to earth.
You are supremely awesome.
Hopefully the vendor remembered to remove the smallpox before selling it to her.
Navajo blanket ponchos were probably fashionable accessories among the Ute, Comanche, Kiowa and every other tribe that managed a successful raid or battle victory against the Navajo.
All the same, fuck Ryan Reynolds.
Biggs is WAY worse. They both probably think they are really funny and insightful, but Biggs writes super-meanspirited, disgusting, pathetic tweets for attention and Braff is just very misinformed about how witty and interesting he is. To my memory, Braff has never tweeted mean vagina jokes or mocked the death of…
I'm a psychotherapist, and the difference as pointed out down thread, between healthy kid exploration (playing "doctor") and abuse is when the children aren't the same play age/developmental level. That creates a power imbalance and an exploitation. So 10 and 13? Likely exploitation, because 13 is much more developed…
I agree that experimentation between children of the same age group is fairly common, but what's being described here, both in the story and in the comments so far in this thread, is MUCH older kids—or adults—taking advantage of the power imbalance between them and young children and doing whatever they want to their…

JUST TAKE THEM ALL DOWN YOU SHITFUCKS
Michelle Obama is on the cover of Essence, which we have displayed on our library shelves. Just a few hours ago, my white co-worker felt it necessary to come complain to me why "they" could have a magazine with only all black people but "we" couldn't have one with only white people (why she thought that was an…
Did anyone really need to see the picture menu of the African American woman and the white woman standing below their respective signs?
Left them for the length of a haircut?! NOPE. Good on those folks for breaking that window. That mother is a fucking idiot.
Except, as an actor you don't always get the full script before you're cast. And then, after casting, there might be any number of rewrites. And if you quit midway through filming you are a way bigger asshole, and in a lot more trouble, than if you just admit to not loving everything about the project after you…
I dunno. Every time I read that I don't see it as a criticism of the Grey's writers as much as a criticism of the Emmys for nominating her when her character didn't do anything particularly challenging for her. Nothing Heigl has ever said has struck me as untruthful or intentionally hurtful. And the reactions…
I think there's definitely a double standard. Women get called "difficult" for expressing opinions (unprofessional or not). Man get called difficult for being verbally and/or physically abusive on set. Those two things are not equal.
I have a problem with the way the industry treats women like Heigl because when they talk, their excuses fall flat. All I hear is this: A person came to us with talent, but demanded to be treated with the respect and courtesy offered to a professional. Unfortunately, we do not credit their work as "professional"…
I also think she'd be perfect for The View.
Hi Katherine!
