I still can't get behind calling this anything to do with being a "Raptor". The Raptor is more than just a hopped up standard F150. Different frames, suspension geometry, shocks, body work, etc. This is just a F150 with a supercharger. Plus...a Raptor would never have a front winch. No actual pre-runner / trophy

The interesting thing about this comment is that I see it all the time on stories about off-road vehicles, but rarely about high performance vehicles.

Come on, you really think there is a market for an off-road focused edition of a pickup? It's not like another rival automaker does this and they fly off lots even with 10k markups, come on. Oh wait, all of those things happen.

I'm teetering on the edge of getting one of these. You should look into it at least. At least test drive one. They're well under budget once you figure in the tax credits, alghough resale is questionable at this point.

But really, pick the H1.

I thought long and hard about this, and the best thing I came up with was a Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. It's just ridiculous enough to follow the Ferrari. Here's one for pretty cheap.

Doug, the answer is obvious: The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. Preferably in seafoam green, tan top, tan interior.

I imagine they'll be just as quick to drop airfares and fuel surcharges as they were to add them. Legroom will increase, checked bag fees will go away and the airlines will be just as quick to pass the savings on to customers as they were to hike costs when gas went up.

If you want to make money, you need low-cost low-power, lightweight, high-range EV bikes, not electric sportbikes. If you want to further the technology, you make electric sportbikes.

I feel like the Raptor is the truck version of The Answer Is Always Miata.

Im not going to believe its a raptoresque version of the colorado. No effin' way. My soul couldnt bear another dissapontment. So it is a cowboy themed colorado. Full of chrome and stars. Or an "urban" trim...

Hopefully something less lame-ass Z71 and more Rapor-esque.

Didn't Nissan do this with some of the old Z cars? I feel like this would make a good QOTD: which cars should get factory restorations (if it hasn't been already). Sub-100k cars only (otherwise it will all be "such and such priceless Ferrari").

I love all of the "free market" and innovation going on. We've got states banning the sale of American-made cars at the behest of auto lobbyists, states banning municipal broadband at the behest of cable and telecom lobbyists, states shutting down clinics and private businesses at the behest of

Grumman Albatross. Last and largest of their amphibious series, it was built from 1949 to 1961 and used by the Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard for air-sea rescue. Surplus planes are still in use, renowned for their ability to operate in open ocean. I'm actually surprised to see these in a boneyard.

Agreed, nacelle technology is batshit complicated and on the leading edge of composites applications and the ones on the new Leap-1 will be crazy.

No. There is no formal law because only one branch of the federal government is able to make laws. That branch is Congress, not the FAA. There is still no formal law, because the FAA is doing nothing but blowing hot air. See Pirker v FAA.
