Subaru testing the fording depth of their STI!

Are there any SUVs as the answer? Seems like it's either a truck or sports car. Moar offroady answers!

I absolutely hated the fact that despite me setting SwiftKey as my default keyboard, anytime I hit a password field and it would switch back to the iOS keyboard.

Mini, pay attention!

That would be the ultimate dirt road bashing car... I'm beginning to realize all I want in an offroad car is something that can tackle dirt/sandy roads at fun speeds without breaking or getting stuck. Throw in solid tow points front/rear to easily get it un-stuck and I'd be a happy camper.

Man if they made an offroad Mini to compete with the Renegade Trailhawk, and used their Dakar heritage to market it, that would DOMINATE!

Ford Raptor!

I love my cheap-o $35 amazon quadcopter, it's a ton of fun indoors or in a small park

I think you just described the Brammo Enertia!

Problem is that for anything over 20mph (in CA at least) you need to classify it as a motorcycle. If it's going to be sold as a motocycle it's expected to go fast enough to drive with cars.

But right now, it would cost $50,000 – half of what people would pay

AMAZING shots! Any chance of getting a hi-res wallpaper pack of these?

ColoRapter Dream list:

Socal resident here, 2000sqft would be AMAZING!

FREEDOM!

Mechanical engineer in aerospace here....

Agreed, the wheel speed sensors should have definitely detected something wrong.

The CR-V probably has a more gas mileage friendly version of awd where the front wheels are decoupled from the rear when there is no slippage detected.

Subaru has a real center diff so there is always some power going to the front and rear. Most of them use electronic simulated limited slips in the front and rear so if the right side was on rollers, it may just spin both of those, but the whole point of the electronic limited slip is to prevent that.

Who cares, as long as they keep making a badass rubicon version I'll be happy!
