I'm sure if it happens it would be with gas powered front wheels and electric rear wheels. If they go with a large lithium pack, an electric only rwd mode would be great.

This gets my vote.

As a mechanical engineer who dabbles in robotics, I love it! Can't wait to see people start swapping out motor controllers and adding battery packs to crank up the voltage.
