P Diddy and the Fam, the soundtrack to a lot of unskilled driveway basketball games.

This is fun. Actually sounds a bit Pearl Jam-ish.

They don't have a quota system or anything like that. They don't look at a candidate and say, "Should we hire this person over this person because she's a woman?" They ask, "Have we conducted this candidate search in a way that is free of implicit or overt bias on the basis of gender, race, yadda yadda?"

Google's diversity initiatives have nothing to do with affirmative action.

All the Metallica puns in this article gave me whiplash.

I guess we should be thankful that they have computers to occupy them, otherwise they'd probably be mutilating neighborhood dogs and beating homeless people for fun.

It's kinda weird that the last word of this song is "Rod Strickland."

Just re-watched The Aviator recently. I don't often use this word, but Blanchett is mesmerizing as Katharine Hepburn. She was also the best "Dylan" in I'm Not There. I'm really excited to see her take on Lucy.

Okay then.

Good point. i guess I'm just ready for Littlefinger to be out of the way, and this is a bit of wishful thinking. He's herpes personified, though. He'll be there till the end.

I'm just thinking that, as much as Littlefinger thrives on chaos, two Stark children who were thought to be dead showing up out of the blue is maybe a bit too much chaos for him, especially considering that Arya and Bran are anything but potential pawns.

So, who's Littlefinger gonna try to have killed next ep? He can't be pleased about all these Starks reuniting. He's seen that Bran has special sight, that Arya is a goddamn killer, and that Sansa is generally annoyed by him. He's got to see them as an obstacle rather than allies or useful fools at this point. Any updates on Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard? Don't get any ideas, you crazy kids!

Eh…maybe not totally frank. Just frankish.

This is a rare sincere public apology. Like, he actually admits that he was uneducated about it. Most people who get called out for anti-transgender speech just double down and talk about how it's a mental illness and unnatural and shouldn't be encouraged blah-blah-blah, but they take zero time to educate themselves.

And what about all those ravens Cersei had killed? Where are all those ravens? What is she hiding?

As soon as Sansa said something to Arya about how excited Jon will be when he gets back, I thought, "Oh, shit, he's not coming back." Not that Jon will die anytime soon, but his return to Winterfell could be delayed by all sorts of stuff. I hope I'm wrong.

If Westeros had a polling system, they'd probably be at about 34%.

I think I've subconsciously ignored that incident in the show because that's not at all how it goes down in the book. Theoretically, I should treat the show and book as separate entities, but it's harder to do in practice. I can't un-know that the show writers deviated significantly from the book with that scene.

Oh, shit, I didn't even notice that. Davos was on fire with the sharp quips this week.
