“[Terrence] ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s some f—in’ demon,” says Daniels. “That’s a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America.”

My dad had a friend when I was a kid who was on his fourth wife at the time. I remember him being a total asshole and calling me out in front of a crowd of people for picking a wedgie (I was, like 12), and I replied that it was hard to believe that multiple women had divorced him. After that he adored me forever for

It’s a fair point. I wasn’t trying to say the comment I was responding to was flat-out wrong, just that it reminds me of the way that her opponents have frequently tried to hurt her by linking her to her Husband’s political career.

Oddly, I’ve never heard of her before. But after IMDBing, I think I need to watch Three (from 1969). Seeing a young Charlotte AND a young Sam Waterston sounds great.

The women who Bill Clinton allegedly assaulted are far more troubling than Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky. They still should not reflect on Hillary Clinton unless she was involved with the alleged assaults or a concealment of the alleged assaults.

Woman Taking The Heat For A Man’s Actions, Episode 36363472

Exactly. A husband’s wrongdoings are always the wife’s responsibility, don’t you know. How else?

“Bathascalabanab, Lord of The Depths, you said there would be no hard questions! I gave you Chelseas little brother!”

It’s a fair question and I think she gave the best answer she could have. Now contrast that with if someone asked the same type of question to the grand-standing circus peanut currently running on the other side. That person would have been insulted, dragged out of the meeting, doxxed and forced off any and all social

She is nothing if not a well-honed lawyer.

But once again a woman is having to answer for the actions of a man.

That being said though (Thanks Jon!), replying with “they deserve to be believed at first until they’re disbelieved based on evidence” is a pretty good spur of the moment reply. She could have refused to answer or said something stupid about it not being relevant or something.

This will sound bizarre, but the story reminds me of Keith Richards and Patty Hanson. She beat cancer a while back (don’t remember specifically what part of her body.) And one of her daughters said in an interview it was really tough for Keith, because Patty is, not suprisingly, the caretaker in that relationship, and

..It was a bromance - cigar-smoking, playing tennis, doing exercise together, out macho-ing each other..

Well, I agree they both have issues with violence and need some serious therapy. But she’s owning her actions and he’s accusing her of lying, and painting himself as the total victim in all of it (which is typical abuser behavior). Those bruises on her neck say otherwise.

Revolutionized journalism? Famous magazine editor?

Sounds like they were both abusive to each other, and alcoholism likely plays a big part in that.

Neither of them come out looking good from I read above (and I can only imagine there is more shit they did to each other). I was always told by my mom and dad “you never hit a lady” when I was a kid - I had 2 sisters, but these two appear to have equally escalated the fight that lead to her going to the ER . Do I

seems pretty clear this guy is as much an asshole as she is. pretty likely he hit her. we live in a society where hitting a (typically much) smaller woman is not acceptable.

I would suggest his (and hers) is not the hill to die on, no matter your cause.

I hate every single part of this story (fwiw, my initial guess is that they’re both mostly telling the truth — they’re both self-hating garbage — and he’s a fucking abuser).
