She can pay his bail, it doesn’t mean she approves of what she allegedly did, just that she’s ensuring he gets the best treatment possible and can at least await trial at home rather than in jail.

I was really glad police announced they weren’t pressing charges against her. That would have been counterproductive and basically a message to other women in similar situations not to try to place their babies in a safe place but rather to do the unthinkable and make sure no one ever finds the baby.
