1980-1995 are millennials from what I have read

Well Xmas isn't just a religious holiday, it is a national holiday so the schools would be closed even if there wasn't a winter break.

I went to school in MA, we had Winter Break at xmas time, and just February Vacation (along with April).

Yup my friend in college was also allergic to red dyes. I don't know why it is that surprising to be allergic to it.

Yeah, the Boston Globe supported him (the most widely read dem/liberal leaning paper in MA). Still voter turn out was very low, and Coakley has never been well liked. You can't really compare it to Markey's race at all, he has a long history in the HOR.

I was in a TJMaxx recently and two middle aged women were out shopping and one of them had her two sons with her. The boys ran all over the store screaming, hiding in racks, crying that they wanted to go. The women stood in the mirror discussing the coats they were trying on, fabric/price and occasionally going "shhh

Honestly, it definitely depends on where you live. TJMaxx by me are WAY nicer than Marshalls. They have huge "The Runway" sections where they carry Theory, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, etc tons of designers that are still going for hundreds if not thousands. And then the 'regular' parts have nicer mid-level designers that

In MA race for government, Republican Baker beat Dem. Coakley by 40,000 votes it is crazy how close so many of these races were.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. This definitely seemed like a very low voter turn out year, non-presidential years seem to get less coverage any way but there seemed to be exceptionally little interest in the election.

It honestly looks like to me she didn't realize he was trying to help her up the step since she was so focused on making sure she pulled her dress up, and didn't trip. Then she glanced down and realized after the fact that he had his hand extended to help her.

Seriously this show is a mess. They just need to refocus the story on Viola/her drama. I have yet to hear from someone that cares about the kids. The show is SO weak because of them.

And can we talk about the cocktail dresses and jewelry Viola Davis is wearing court? And they are all sleeveless!

1993!

How can you even try to call this a a martini?? Look at the ingredient list

Hm, I remember when their separation was first announced there were rumors that Marc Anthony was emotionally abusive, and actually had a history of treating exes that way as well. Either way good for JLo talking about it, because it can happen to anyone, and she doesn't need to share specifically who it was if she

Dan Savage interviewed a woman who had a sexual relationship with Jian Ghomeshi for several months, and never experienced abuse/can't imagine how these allegations can be true of the person she interacted with. Dan Savage does a really interesting and compelling job analyzing how both versions Ghomeshi can actually be

I'm not surprised since HTGAWM is a new show, and there is a lot of buzz around it. Aside from Viola Davis though the show is beyond mediocre, and not even fun in a Shondaland way. This season of Scandal is actually better than any of S3 (so far), they really are getting back to what made the show good/crazy fun to

Dunkin Donuts makes horrible donuts.

Women's business for Under Armour accounted for about 25% of their total sales. I would estimate it is probably a similar percent for Nike since they are also now focusing on the womens' market too.

Split Pea Soup is the absolute worst soup. Just why.
