And once again, Moffat fucks the show with his retcons. Good Fucking Riddance.

What’s more, Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t even an entirely original property, it’s based on a pen-and-paper game from 1990 called Cyberpunk 2020.
Says the man who’s cherry-picking his interpretations to prop up his prejudices.
It plainly does. And your axe-grinding is blinding you.
But it is also in the present tense, which can suggest it was referring to a specific context.
“Go ahead,” she wrote.“It’s why we have trump. And I will not allow this country to be told what to do by foreigners.”
It was there to inspire, horrify and provoke. Unlike The Simpsons, which has always been a cynical, precision manufactured and utterly soulless product.
I always do lifting before cardio simply because I don’t want to ooze over the weights... Oh well, ahead of the curve. (And still more popular with my fellow gym goers.)
The ‘Burn-The-Witch’ vibe here has unfortunate parallels to the shitstorm hurled at Ghostbusters 2016. The only difference here is that one was castigated for being too progressive and the other is being attacked for not being progressive enough.
Shit products don’t sell, as a rule. Don’t blame diversity. Blame quality.
Rina Takeda would make a great Sister Of Battle - you can imagine her karate-kicking Ghazghkull into next week.
The biggest problem with Ghost in the Shell is that it has its main character asking the wrong sort of existential questions. The Major wonders more about who she was and where she’s been, rather than who she really is and what part specifically differentiates her from others.
If it’s Whedon, it’ll be ostensibly ‘feminist’, with lots of superficially witty one-liners, but then the soap opera misery and scenery chewing will kick in, and millions will tune in, oblivious to how fucking obnoxious and unlikeable the main characters really are...
Tony Stark is what happens when you get a very high INT and CHA score combined with very low WIS. (Oh God, will I ever know the company of women?) He is at his best when his back is against the wall, but he’s thick as two short planks sometimes.
On the rooftop/suit taken scene, I think I distinctly hear Tony say, “I wanted you to be better.” Not “want.” Along the guilt lines, feel like it’s more Tony meaning he doesn’t want Peter to repeat his brash, stupid mistakes, and be better than Tony was in the beginning. Not just trying to lecture Peter.
One of the defectors returned to North Korea and went on state TV to declare that “there are as many scams in South Korea as there is water in the river.”
There is an ideal way of dealing with this - Sony makes films with Miles or Stacey, while Marvel gets Peter (isn’t it strange that we’re on first name terms with these characters?). Once in a while, Sony and Marvel get together to do a Spidey All-Stars movie with all the cast. Maybe even a grand send off for messrs…
Don’t you wish sometimes that you could pile up the Web, all the social media and all the vileness, set it alight and burn it all to ash? Sometimes I wonder if the benefits the Web brings us can ever be worth the terrible things it is used for.
Apparently a lot of these people are technologically savvy, but otherwise total dipshits.
As said, I’m more of an MR James/Hodgson man myself (both well worth reading), and predating Ito’s work by many decades. (Toho’s Matango was based on Hodgson’s short story, A Voice In The Night - he was also an early adopter of the horror tentacle motif.) MR James, meanwhile, is just pure metal.
