This makes sense. At least in rural canada, the defacto offroad vehicle is a crewcab 4wd pickup truck. Forestry, mining, construction, farmers and regular private buyers.  Jeep wants a slice of that market.

I think people are missing the point of the bed. It’s just a starting point for whatever you can dream off. I suspect you look at some of the Aussie 4x4 conversion for overlanding, etc.

Please, please, please, say there will be an extended cab version with a longer bed.
