This makes total sense. Not only would you learn what is and isn't important to stress over, I would assume you get a healthy dose of "this too shall pass" borne out by life experience to soften the stressful moments.

I feel like it's demonstrably true with antibiotics at the very least... but analgesics and antihistamines and that sort of thing, I'm not sure. We were always commanded to sniffle and drip for a day when we got colds, so I'm not sure if this is about curiosity as much as vindication at this point ;)
