Two things, this is an article on resale values of phones. If you're concerned about retail value then having your phone in a case will help protect that. Second, I don't know about the rest of you but I don't sit there staring at my phone with the screen off and whistfully sighing that it's beautiful. When I'm

Yeah, my phone is one of the computers I use most. I'm not going to buy it based on resale value, I'm going to pick the phone that suits my needs (currently Note 2, I need a larger screen, decent camera and the ability to easily root+customize, the S-pen is bonus too). If your primary concern for buying a phone is

I've never really used a GoPro but I love this software simply because it provides the Cineform codec for free, which I used to pay like $110 for every year or so.

It's the internet! Don't back down!

Not to mention that I don't think a wrinkle-free Sphynx would work unless its skin was extremely elastic, which would just be far more disturbing than wrinkles.

My girlfriend has a cat that looks exactly like this one and we were just talking about how dapper he looked and how badly he needed a bowler cap or something. This is perfect.

I didn't assume that until you told me not to assume it.

This is optional, isn't it? They make the offer but I'm assuming the developer has the option to turn it down? Or do you agree when you submit an app that Amazon can, at their discretion, give it away for free?

So THAT'S where they get them.

As an old and unattractive 31 year old, you're saying things will improve for me? Awesome! I assumed it was all downhill from here.

I just re-read my comment and realize some people might not find it sarcastic enough.

What the article doesn't mention is that you use the app to take a picture of each ear and it uses an algorithm that measures the contouring of your outer ear to adjust frequency response further when you're listening on regular headphones (not earbuds) or through speakers. It's really quite remarkable.

I actually think that's what made him such an entertaining host. It's cheap, cheesy throw-away humor that's safe for families with kids of all ages to sit around and enjoy together. My family certainly did. But then you catch his stand-up and learn the dark truth that the Mike Brady of the late 80's is actually as

I designed all my posters myself, each featuring one of my top six favorite races during the Formula 1 season. What does that say about me? Does it explain why I'm so lonely?

I'm glad someone else said this. I don't mean to be picky, but some of the other profile pictures are downright distracting and/or annoying. It's nice to see something more professional/serious.

I'm still very early in the game and it's made rather clear that Vaas isn't long for this world. I think spoilers are okay in comments an article about the games sequel, 8 months after its initial release.

It does include 4 3-Day General Admission Tickets which alone costs ~$700, so $300 for the camping pad for the weekend is actually a pretty good deal, considering hotel prices are currently $200-300 PER NIGHT minimum if they're anywhere within 50 miles of the track.

I believe Memphis is FedEx's headquarters and home to their SuperHub. Almost all of my FedEx shipped amazon packages go through Memphis at some point. In fact, almost every FedEx second/next day package I've ever received has gone through Memphis, unless it was already coming regionally.

The NFC and other signalling technology is cool but might be better left to something inside or sewn into the bag. I've had entire handles torn off my luggage at least twice before, anything hanging on the outside is fair game.

One of the main advantages of E-ink is that once the image is set it doesn't require electricity to remain set, thats why devices with that display technology can run such a long time on fairly small batteries.
