He didn’t even do that. The first day the twitter pic broke, when nobody could get to the bottom of whether it was Weiner or the result of a hacked twitter account, Stewart said he hoped it wasn’t Weiner, and then used that as a springboard to make a bunch of dick jokes.

Watched Thor: Ragnarok and did not disappoint. Some comic stories are just too big and ‘out there’ to take itself seriously and while there are moments of sentiment, it’s a pure guilty pleasure of a buddy comedy action romp.

I’m catching up on season two of THE EXORCIST - holy crap, it’s good, and a shame AV Club aren’t covering it like the first season :’( the same with season two of CHANNEL ZERO, which is super weird and brilliant.

Futurama makes me cry an improbable number of times even on rewatch. Seymour is (of course) the worst of all but anytime they had a sincere moment about Fry’s family gets to me, too. God, that scene where Fry and his father are ice-fishing . . .

I was out apartment hunting most of the day, but since arriving home, I’ve been bingeing on the SyFy Futurama marathon. Good times.

I watched Hammer’s Phantom of the Opera this week. It was very strange seeing Herbert Lom with curly blond hair! Last week it was a blond Vincent Price in The House of Usher.
