Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald. It is long. I had difficulty recalling the significance, if any, of many of the characters from the previous instalment or the wider Potterverse. Friends I saw it with seemed underwhelmed.

Because I like the Pixies I’ve been curious about the Breeders for a while so picked up Pod. Listened to it a couple of times and I don’t know what to make of it. I’ve never thought of Pixies as being overly produced, it’s part of what I enjoy about their music, but Pod really goes for a mates in their garage first…

Was it by the same people who do the play in Las Vegas? If so i can imagine how that would be a lot of fun even if the music isn’t great.

I can see your point about Dobby! I find it more funny than distracting, although this is after the fact having not made that link myself during the episode.

What disappointed you about the finale? While I found the whole Martha walks the earth thing a bit lame in execution (I assume budget constraints) I enjoyed the idea of it and I couldn’t help but smile at the Flash Gordon ending.

Finished season 3 of New Who. John Simm is fun as a Master more than slightly deranged, though more Derek Jacobi would have been great! Blink is still enjoyable second time around and remains my favourite from the season. Also, this might be the most jam packed season of actors I keep seeing in other things like Andrew…
