Yeah, people who don’t remember 9/11 grew up in a completely different universe. I’d say there’s a distinct cohort that have their earliest memories after the fall of the Berlin Wall but are old enough to remember the world before 9/11 (even if they were little kids). So maybe 86-96. That’s not a generation though.

I agree. There’s a lot of potential arguments for and against where the generational cutoff should be, but for me it’s 9/11. I was in college and a voting (if not legally drinking) adult. Compared to kids who don’t even remember 9/11, it feels like they’re lumping together two groups who grew up in completely
