You’re in generation limbo! It’s weird because you’re old enough to have solidly Gen-X siblings (and even have gone to school with Gen-Xers, albeit a couple few years ahead) and even have Silent Generation parents like many Gen Xers. Like right on the cusp.

Yeah, people who don’t remember 9/11 grew up in a completely different universe. I’d say there’s a distinct cohort that have their earliest memories after the fall of the Berlin Wall but are old enough to remember the world before 9/11 (even if they were little kids). So maybe 86-96. That’s not a generation though.
