His pace really fell off after that.

Now playing

Hopefully they keep in mind that most things designed to go in a straight line quickly don’t corner well, as this video from Leadfoot Festival a few years ago demonstrates.

He was there this past year, I imagine he’ll be there again.

Oh man, if RBR is the Illuminati, we’re all boned after drinking Red Bull for some many years.

Not by a long shot.

All the rumors everywhere won’t end, just the ones around RBR’s engine, now there’s one less thing for F1 “diehards” (read: those who have zero professional connection to the sport but think they are the most important person in the sport) to get in arguments on the Internet over.

These guys race in circles and they’re in the Olympics.

Cool, now all the rumors finally end. Though the end result isn’t a huge surprise to anyone, it’s good to have confirmation finally.

Is there a real, credible source for that? I don’t doubt it’s with Renault, just getting a bit tired of people taking rumors as fact. I’ve heard the Tag Heuer rumor as well and don’t trust it either.

I’ve heard rumors saying the same thing but nothing from RBR saying that, do you have a link with definitive proof?

I’ve heard rumors saying the same, haven’t heard anything concrete yet. Hopefully now that the Renault deal is preactically done they’ll announce in the next few days.

I didn’t intend for that at all. I personally know a few female drivers who are great behind the wheel and as people, my intent was that maybe the OP needs to look away from the small pond of high-level Professional off-road racing and look at the much larger lake of Sportsman racing. People in general tend to have

This is a loaded question, nothing against you, it’s just one of those where no matter how I answer it’ll get taken wrong. When it’s not 1am I may try to answer better.

Oh. Well, it was talked about in the article, so to propose such a thing implies one didn’t read the article while it was stated.

Audi are moving to the 6MJ class ... and their engine package is staying the same as this year, 4.0L, turbo diesel V6

So right now the “woman’s role” at your standard off-road event is pretty much limited to being used as decoration in a leather loin cloth that says “MONSTER ENERGY.”

Anyone have financial information showing how much of an effect the race has on the local economy? I’m curious to see how much money the government puts out actually makes its way back to the government.
