Saw it on Bangshift a few days ago, Remy Julienne is the kind of guy Ken Block wishes he could be.

The Muscle Car class at Pikes Peak is a personal favorite.

I was going to post this on Oppo after reading it on Bangshift, but I figured someone would find it there and bring it to the front page.

These both look like Oscar Meier built bodies for existing trucks, the big one looks to be a Losi 5ive T (tires, front a-arms, shock angles), and the small one looks to be an ECX Torment (front bumper, tires).

Yeah the small one is an ECX Torment, the big one is a Losi 5ive T.

The wheels are turned, it has more camber due to the Kingpin Inclination, Caster Angle, and Initial Camber working together.

And Formula One, and IndyCar’s Aero packages, and D-Sports Racers, and Formula 1000, and on and on...

Gotcha, your point makes sense.

I’m not sure. An Audi F1 car would look like every other team’s F1 cars, the regulations in the nose area are so tight there isn’t much different about them. Plus, the “nose” on this car is much higher than what current F1 regulations allow, this is more like the nose on an F1 car from 2011.

The nose is completely different and has completely different airflow around it.

If Manor wins, the entry fee for their drivers (and maybe team? can’t remember that one) goes up for next year, so if they win they would actually end up spending more money next year.

I saw that a few years ago, I’ve shown it side-by-side with other cars lapping Road America and the people watching are blown away.

Like every BlipShift shirt for the last two years, I’ll pass. It’s too “Inside Joke” for me.

The best part about it is even with that high of a development cost, it’s still faster and cheaper than the DeltaWing.

I’ll have to listen to that later.

I am a fan of the DSR class as well, I’m afraid that a similar thing to the LMP2/DP split may happen and in the future both the DSR and NP01 classes combine with some form of equivalence, neutering both in the process.

I read through all the comments first, I understand what you’re saying.

To me it feels like NASA is trying to draw people out of the SCCA D-Sports Racer class with these, the power is about the same and though there’s about 500 pounds more on the car they just seem a little close to be “separate” classes.

Not sure on Slingshot, last I knew his nephew is running the truck.

I try, thanks for the kind words.
