Really, why doesn’t “old” pavement work well?

I’ve been to Meadowdale a few times. Most of the original pavement was crumbled away with many sections being completely gone, the biggest places were on the front stretch where years ago the culvert got washed away and took a lot of track with it and by the silo where a stretch also got washed away.

Oh? The place I used to work at hasn’t been repaved in over a decade and the place is doing just fine.

Nothing really different from any other racing vehicle, the standard HANS, harness, and a ton of padding around the driver’s head, like in basically every modern racing vehicle.

Axially it might work, but it’s shear loading that I’d be wary about. THat’s the biggest killer of axle parts, the impact on landing shearing parts off.

Top Fuel Drag Boats.

I honestly don’t know. The gear reduction through the entire driveline is pretty large, that torque multiplication is really what helps get things moving.

Zevras is partially correct, but mostly not, with his post. See this for info:

Oh boy, that’s a lot... I’ll try to asnwer as best as I can.

This isn’t the original truck, this is a replica built within the last few years for display purposes. The original red truck is assumed to have been scrapped many years ago.

It’s not the original, it was built within the last couple years as a replica display truck. The original is assumed to have been scrapped many years ago.

What do you want to know about them? I may be able to help you out.

Yup, saturating the market doesn’t work.

I could see a tie rod or steering rack exploding on that landing.

Why would it benefit a Watkins Glen, whose facility is well-kept and currently operating in the black, to spend Millions redoing its layout/buildings and spend more Millions to host one race weekend?

Ecclestone would only specify as much as; “Anywhere it doesn’t rain. ...”

I did not notice that, thanks for pointing it out.

The description of the Mpow headphone code is inaccurate, it takes $10 off the price and brings it down to $15.99, it doesn’t bring the headphones down to $10.
